This book is intended to share my journey to and through bilateral breast cancer, where I experienced the greatest fear of my life. My doctor informed me of my need to undergo a surgical biopsy. the biopsy established that I had cancer in both of my breasts. After two surgeries on each breast, and the invasiveness of thirty radiation treatments going through my body, the cancer was gone. Or was it? Will I ever feel secure again? The physical healing process, as well as the emotional and mental healing, was one of immense difficulty and it felt as if it would never end... But God.

With much prayer and support from you, my readers and fellow cancer survivors, I hope to bring the awareness of breast cancer to the forefront of society.

It is also my purpose to use this book to encourage you, as women, to schedule and actively pursue your annual mammogram. Prior to my diagnosis I had not had a mammogram in four years. Four years is a long time to be negligent about caring for the body that God so lovingly provided me. I thank and praise the Lord that He did not allow my negligence to get in the way of His purpose for my life. He blessed and healed me, and He will do the same for you.
